Fitbit Blaze Smart Watch

Fitbit Blaze is pretty cool looking, a big step up cosmetically, and looking a lot more like an Apple watch. The Fitbit Blaze is also quite a bit cheaper than other smart watches.

The Blaze tracks steps, stair climbing, heart rate and sleep automatically. It also adds a large color touchscreen and side buttons, which can let you start and stop workouts plus get stats mid-session like heart rate, pace, and more. See our tips below on how to use your Fitbit Blaze smart watch.

How to Wear and use the Fitbit Blaze

Fitbit Blaze is water resistant, splash and sweat-proof, but is not swim-proof. It's important to keep any wearable device clean and dry, so the makers of Fitbit don't recommend showering with Fitbit Blaze.

To track heart rate, your band should lay flat, a finger’s width above your wrist bone. For better readings during exercise, wear the band higher up on your wrist—about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone.

How to Wear and use the Fitbit Blaze

  • Clean your band and wrist regularly with a soap-free cleanser.
  • If your tracker gets wet, remove and dry completely.
  • Take your band off from time to time.
  • If you notice skin irritation, please remove your tracker. See Fitbit's full Wear and Care Tips.
